The OWIN6G MSCA Doctoral Network has officially marked its first successful PhD completion. Dr. Christos Giachoudis, successfully presented their doctoral research on 27th September 2026 at Centrale Méditerranée, Marseille, France.
Key Contributions to the Project:
- Research Output: Investigated Energy efficient PHY & MAC protocol design for WBANs, resulting in 8 peer-reviewed publications in major scientific journals and conference outings.
- Intersectoral Mobility: Successfully completed a 3-month industrial secondment at Fraunhofer HHI, Berlin, bridging the gap between academic theory and commercial application.
- Network Deliverables: Contributed significantly to Deliverable T2.4 of WP2.
This graduation highlights the effectiveness of the structured, international training program provided by the OWIN6G network. We congratulate Dr. Christos Giachoudis on setting a high standard for the remaining nine doctoral candidates within our consortium.
